John Klunder has been taking pictures since he was around 12 years old, processing and printing his first black & white photos in the darkroom of a New York City Boys Club. He bought his first 35mm camera from a pawn shop in Denver while stationed there with the US Air Force in the late 60s. He took photography classes at American River College in Sacramento, CA in the early 70s. He graduated from the Glen Fishback School of Photography in Sacramento, in 1980.
John is a past president of The New ArtWorks Gallery in Fair Oaks, CA, as well as the president of the Cordova Camera Club of Sacramento, CA, of which he's been a member for more than 30 years.
Having made a career in the construction business for more than 25 years, he is looking forward to shifting his focus on developing a successful photo business with an emphasis on Fine Art Photography.
His background also includes Advertising, Portraiture (Indoor and Out), Product Photography, Photo restoration, Copy work (providing digital files of artists' originals for advertising, jurying, or Giclees), Slide copying to CDs or DVDs, Slide shows, and special event photography (excluding weddings).
